A huge happy 5 years to our wonderful Alexis! Alexis started with us just after the launch of Clever Curl! Beginning in Admin, she was quickly needed in our Sales and Marketing and is now our Marketing Manager 🤍 Alexis is the definition of a team player; her creative ideas, selfless attitude, and contagious laugh have not only inspired us but have also played a vital role in our growth and success. This week we spent Tuesday and Thursday afternoon doing some very fun team building at Red Lock Escape Rooms in Maroochydore! We highly recommend doing these escape rooms as we all had the best time and the team work was taken to the next level 😂🤍

Hayley’s Kangaroo Stew was such a hit we couldn’t keep the recipe to ourselves!
Below are the ingredients but no measurements because our girl is an ~intuitive~ measurer 😆

Yesterday we celebrated NAIDOC week with our friends Macka, Lee-Samuel and the incredible Undumbi dancers @undumbidancers @undumbi_culture 🤍
We spent the morning watching incredible story-telling through dance and indulging in some amazing First Nation delicacies.
Thank you so much to the Undumbi Dancers for celebrating and connecting with us. The team here at Ethical Brand Co are so grateful to be able to celebrate NAIDOC week in this special way.

Did you know our entire Ethical Brand Co team is CPR certified? A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of welcoming Carl Taylor in to our office to come and teach us all there is to know about first aid and CPR!
We highly recommend Carl as he made the whole event fun and enjoyable whilst also still giving us all of the important information we would need in the event of an emergency 😊

National Reconciliation Week 2024 🖤💛❤️
Yesterday we had the pleasure of having @leemuckan & @undumbi_culture join us in celebrating National Reconciliation Week. We hold dearly our friendship with the Muckan family and are constantly left with a greater understanding on First Nation’s history and cultural practices and the importance of continuing to share this knowledge.
The team at Ethical Brand Co acknowledge the traditional custodians of the beautiful land we have the honour of working, living and playing on - the Yinneburra clan of the Kabi Kabi people.
We acknowledge their loss of life, land & livelihood; the displacement of children, family & community; the fragmentation of identity & history. We are proud supporters of Reconciliation Australia and the work they do to educate the community and strengthen the relationships between Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous Australians.
