This week our team attended the Sunshine Butterflies annual Triathlon 🦋🤍 @sunshinebutterflies

We spent the morning cheering on members, staff, students and ourselves as everyone completed accessible triathlon circuit at the Sunshine Butterflies Backyard!

Thank you to the wonderful Sunshine Butterflies team who always plan such incredible events, celebrating inclusion in our community! We are so proud to support the important work you do.

Last week we were lucky enough to have the wonderful Ranee from @jarnell_cut.colour.curl visit us at Head Office. Ranee had a VIP tour of Ethical Brand Co as well as sitting down with our business owners for lunch and a casual chat.

The Ethical Brand Co team were honoured to spend the day at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCHU) supporting @wishlist 🤍

Wishlist raises funds to support the growing health needs of patients and families on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie region.

Thursday 27th March was Wishlist Giving Day. Wishlist Giving Day provides the opportunity for the local community, patients, health staff and businesses to rally together to support their local hospitals. Ethical Brand Co team members attending to help us raise much-needed funds for vital medical equipment, services, beneficial new research projects and emergency accommodation for patients and their families.

Our team were at SCHU offering EverEscents and Clever Curl goodie bags as well as assisting to raise funds for the telethon.

Donations received on Thursday 27 March 2025 were matched by our generous matching donors! Ethical Brand Co was just one of the incredible matching donors with our directors Julia and Luke donating an incredible $5,000 to Wishlist Giving Day.

After years of bleaching and heat styling I am ready to start embracing my natural hair and restoring its health and shine.

Since switching to EverEscents and Clever Curl Products when I started working for Ethical Brand Co only a few months ago, I have already seen a major improvement in the strength and health of my hair, and I’m so excited to see the transformation continue.

Today we celebrate a huge achievement at Ethical Brand Co, Bonnie’s 10 year anniversary! 🥳🍾
Bonnie started working at EBC to cover some of Julia’s tasks while she was on maternity leave and never left! From Book Keeper, to Accounts to Admin Manager, Bonnie shines in all areas of her role. Whenever there is a problem Bonnie is always there to offer a solution.

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting Tanya from Peninsular Waves at our head office for a tour and some product education with our Customer Experience Team. Tanya’s salon Peninsular Waves is in Seaford, Victoria and currently stocks Clever Curl, EverEscents and Eco Style Project. We were humbled to know that Tanya left here with broadened knowledge of our products, how to care for textured hair and some product tips and tricks!

Today marks the end of an era for Ethical Brand Co as our incredible Nat spreads her wings and embarks on a new adventure 🦋

Nat has been an integral part of our EBC team for more than 7 years, and even before joining our team Nat was working with EverEscents during her Hairdressing Apprenticeship. We have absolutely loved watching Nat grow, she has been not only a pioneer for our company but the curly hair movement in Australia and New Zealand. You may know her as the face of Clever Curl, but we lovingly know her as Nat Attack, Natto or Natty.

During Nat’s time at EBC she has achieved so much, these achievements include:

⭐️ Development and launch of Eco Style Project
⭐️ Training salons in low-tox hairdressing and using EverEscents
⭐️ Researching, developing and launching Australia’s first curly hair range, Clever Curl
⭐️ Pioneering our Clever Curl Education Program and educating the next generation of Curl Specialists

We were lucky enough to have Denise and Bruce from @danielmorcombefoundation visit our head office this week. Denise and Bruce spoke with our team about child safety and the resources available to educate yourself and your family.

The Daniel Morcombe Foundation provides personal child safety education to children and young people to prevent abuse and promote lifelong health and wellbeing. They support educators, parents and carers through the provision of resources and education and also directly support young victims of crime.

Ethical Brand Co are proud to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation as High Five Philanthropy Club Members in 2025, donating $5,000 on behalf of our customers.

Our Ethical Brand Co team had some very special visitors this week, Bianca and Jaz from Wishlist.

Ethical Brand Co has donated to @scwishlist on behalf of all our customers.

@scwishlist distributes more than $1 million for the provision of medical equipment, research, education and services to support patients, including hospital accommodation.
