What would you save in a fire? 🔥 (besides yourself, of course 😅)

This week was Safety Week at Ethical Brand Co, which included a fire evacuation drill. Naturally, we turned it into a reel featuring the one (slightly ridiculous) item each team member would hypothetically save.

Of course, we know that in a real fire, safety comes first and you should evacuate immediately - but we couldn’t resist adding a little fun to our drill.

Ethical Brand Co NAIDOC celebration 🤍

We had the honour of celebrating NAIDOC week with our friends Macka, Lee-Samuel and the incredible Undumbi dancers @undumbidancers @undumbi_culture
Our team enjoyed a morning of singing and cultural storytelling through dance. We then shared lunch consisting of Mari Stew (Kangaroo), BBQ Crocodile, Mari (Kangaroo) and Pirridjan (Emu) as well as lemon myrtle cookies and delicious damper. Big shout out to our team members who cooked up a storm 🤍

Ethical Brand Co is dedicated to our reconciliation journey, through our commitment, we have also continued to build upon our personal connections with our First Nations Communities and widened our knowledge of how best to support them.

Yesterday, our Cultural Engagement Team had the pleasure of attending the Sunshine Coast Council NAIDOC Flag Raising and Youth Showcase Event.
NAIDOC Week is an important time of year to come together and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.
