Kykoe Guya Scrunchie Headband

A beautifully vibrant design. Guya translates to Fish in Butchulla/Badtjala which is an important and large food resource for many. Hunting and gathering from the land, the Butchulla people or K’Gari (otherwise known as Fraser Island) knew which guya was plentiful and good for eating at certain times by listening and understanding the signs from Mother Nature and connection to Country.

Please be mindful that while perfection of each piece is desired, every single headband is loving handmade with care.
