After years of research, development and fine tuning, EverEscents are so proud to be launching EverEscents Signature Series, our very own range of Certified Organic essential oils!
As a company we pride ourselves on using only the highest quality organic ingredients and for over 15 years have shown up consistently as a market leader, providing quality organic hair care that Australians know and trust.
EverEscents Organic Hair Care range has been based on essential oils from the word go; and drawing on the properties of each oil, bolstered by many other plant nutrients we have created a beautiful, instantly recognisable range of effective, natural and therapeutic haircare. So, over recent years it started to make sense that we showcase our essential oils in their purest form to be used in many more ways than simply haircare.
Those who are familiar with essential oils will be well versed in the endless ways we can fragrance our skin care, use them topically, to clean our home, create diffuser ambient moods .. there are literally endless ways that oils can be used.
EverEscents Essential oils are aromatic, concentrated plant extracts that are carefully obtained through steam or water distillation and cold pressing techniques; the purity of our oils are testament to the high-quality organic plant material they are extracted from, enhancing and preserving each oil’s unique properties and fragrance.
Certified organic by the ACO in accordance with the Australian National Standard for Organic and Biodynamic Produce means EverEscents’ Signature Series Essential Oils have been crafted using the most ecologically sustainable methods possible. Using natural methods rather than pesticides ensures the biodiversity of the plants eco system is preserved, also eliminating the possibility of product contamination.
What is the difference between Organic and Non-Organic Oils?
In some cases non-organic oils have been considered comparable to the organic equivalent. This can be true in the cases of lavender or rosemary for example, both being naturally pest resistant therefore not always requiring chemical sprays. Alongside this the steam distillation process forces high temperatures through the plant material quite often causing any unwanted properties i.e. pesticides to evaporate off.
However other varieties, such as citrus fruit, absorb far more environmental pollutants due to their thicker skins. The cold press method of extraction while effective at retaining the good stuff, can unfortunately also retain the unwanted extras as well.
By obtaining ACO certification, EverEscents ensures that all of our essential oils come from the cleanest source possible. By choosing ACO products we support the organic industry, encouraging the use of responsible farming techniques that ultimately protect our health and the health of our planet.

EverEscents Signature Series Essential Oils are clean, fresh and potent, meaning less is more.
They blend beautifully and can be used either topically or in a carrier oil of your choosing.
We’ve been experimenting with a few blends here in our salon.
*At the basin added into EverEscents Fragrance Free Shampoo, Conditioner and treatment, to create a tailor-made experience.

Adding oils to a carrier/base oil when using Essential Oils directly on the skin or scalp is advised.
Some oils such as cinnamon bark or peppermint are considered ‘hot’ and need to be diluted before applying to the skin.
In the salon we’ve been loving Jojoba oil .. but here are some of the many other carrier oils that could be used including:

Apricot kernel
Argan Oil
Rosehip oil
Grapeseed oil
Avocado Oil
Coconut Oil
Most importantly wherever possible purchase organic, cold pressed oils from a trusted manufacturer.
Returning to simplicity
Ultimately, we love essential oils here at EverEscents!
And while nothing is more supportive to our system than plants as food, medicine, and fragrance we are all individual and therefore need to exercise caution and respect while using potent plant oils for the first time.
That said, customising and blending our own products can be a beautiful nourishing experience as we step further out of the chemical maze and into a more empowered personalised approach.
